Greater Indy Red Cross disaster volunteers provide emergency assistance to Arrowwoods Apartments residents
INDIANAPOLIS - The American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis responded to a fire at the Arrowwoods Apartments on Indy's northwest side Sunday morning. Members of the Disaster Action Team were on the scene and provided emergency assistance to 33 people for things such as food, clothing and shelter. Red Cross caseworkers will meet with displaced residents in the coming days to address any unmet disaster-caused needs.
