Greater Indy Red Cross assisting stranded Greyhound bus travelers
The American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis is working with Greyhound personnel to provide cots and blankets to approximately 50 travelers stranded at the Indianapolis Greyhound Station at 350 S. Illinois Street.
The Greater Indianapolis Red Cross has supported the Indianapolis Greyhound Station in this way in the past. A Red Cross disaster trailer stocked with the needed items was delivered this afternoon so the cots and blankets can be distributed to the travelers this evening.
The American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year to respond to disasters and other emergencies. All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by the voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.
